Tee Booking Update 9th July 2020
Following the First Ministers briefing at lunchtime today it was confirmed that 4-balls can be played as of first tee time tomorrow, Friday 10th July. The BRS booking sheets have been amended to accommodate 4 names from tomorrow onwards and you are reminded that the names of all players must be entered in the booking otherwise additional members looking for a game may be added by the starter to available places.
There are 2 competitions running tomorrow the Ladies July Medal (1st qualifier) and the Gents Friday Stableford and the games in these competitions can be played in any combination of competitors and non-competitors up to a maximum of 4.
For instance 2 players could enter the competition and the other 2 in the 4-ball do not or 3 players could enter the competition and 1 player decides not to. Previously the maximum that could play in a game within a midweek competition would have been 3, that is no longer the case.
The Sir John Hunter Shield and the Ladies Saturday Stoke being played on Saturday 11th July remain 3-Ball competitions as the ballot has been done for them.
Should you seek clarification on any of the above then please contact the Match & Handicap Secretary.
