House Update 1st July
I am sure you will all be looking forward to getting back to nearer normal here at Cathkin Braes Golf Club. As the Scottish Government have allowed outdoor areas to open from Monday 6th July, we have been working with the staff to get things started again at the club.
From Monday 6th we will now be able to serve hot and cold drinks and snacks outdoors from 11am through to 6pm, 7 days a week. There will be six round picnic tables available as well as various benches. This will initially be table service only and all payments should be made by your club card.
The toilets just inside front door to the left have now been opened for use. The disabled one can be used for the gents in the interim. The locker rooms will remain closed for the time being.
From Wednesday 15th July, the clubhouse will reopen for members, including bar area and all toilets and normal closing hours will resume. Lockers will remain out of use for the time being.
We will operate a one way system in the clubhouse where possible and we ask that you only enter the clubhouse through the main front door. If entering the lounge, we ask that you enter through the first door to the right in to main lounge and when exiting, please exit through the fire door on to the patio. The back doors of the clubhouse should not be used at this time. There will be a restricted number of tables and chairs available to comply with government guidelines.
Service will be available at bar with strict social distancing in place and again payment should be by card only. Ross will also return on 15th and will be offering a limited menu initially and he will build on this with demand. The catering hours will be gauged as we return to normal and will be communicated to members and put on notice board the week before.
Please give Ross and the bar your full support during these unprecedented times.
These guidelines will be reviewed weekly and any changes will be notified to all members.
